Rockaway Park is really lucky to have the amazing team from Normal Magic offering free mental health advice at our Sunday Sessions. So, if you have any concerns about yourself or someone else, Sarah Lewis and Tracey Calvert are on hand to hear your thoughts and consider ways to boost your recovery, or help support someone. It might be that you simply want to explore ways to improve your mentally healthy lifestyle and perhaps get your children involved in exploring ways to balance emotional wellbeing.

Sarah and Tracey will now also be running a free workshop at our Sunday Sessions for primary age children and their parents/guardians/carers. The workshop aims to explore through experiential learning the ways we alter our mood state using our senses. This includes activities using our sense of sound, sight, touch, taste, smell, body awareness (proprioception) and balance (vestibular.) By including the ‘Normal Magic 10 a day choices’ in the workshop, they will bring to life the many wonderful ways we choose to balance and protect our mental health.

Held in the Rockaway classroom from 2pm for an hour, there’s no need to book, just come along and join in –  it’s free, fun and full of inspiration!
