Our Harry Potter screenings in Clifton College Chapel have quickly become one of our calendar highlights, and this year is no exception!

Join us this Christmas season in one of Bristol’s most beautiful venues, which feels like Bristol’s very own Hogwarts. Step through Memorial Arch on College Road and make your way into this magnificent space, stop by the pop-up tuck shop, and enjoy these spellbinding films back on the big screen.

The first instalment is of course Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, introducing the wizarding world and “The Boy Who Lived”, as well as a host of great British actors in their debut outings in iconic roles.

Harry Potter’s life is transformed when he learns that he is a wizard; he is whisked away from his downtrodden existence with the Dursleys and enrols in Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. As Harry navigates his first year in the wizarding world, it soon transpires that there are hidden dangers lurking within Hogwarts’ walls…
