INNER AND OUTER LANDSCAPES

7 February @ 11:00 am - 12 February @ 4:00 pm

Exploring the Inner and Outer Worlds of Neurodivergent Artist Chris Shopland
This journey delves into the unique inner world of neurodivergent artist Chris Shopland and the outer landscapes that shape his artistic vision. Drawing inspiration from his daily walks with Ralph, his three-year-old rescue Pomsky (a Pomeranian-Husky cross), Chris interprets his surroundings through a distinctive creative lens.

In his first solo exhibition, Inner and Outer Landscapes, Chris Shopland invites viewers to explore the richness of the human experience, presenting inner thoughts and emotions through his distinctive visual language. As a neurodivergent artist, Chris offers an immersive experience unlike any other. Be prepared to have your senses flooded—this is no minimalist, white-wall exhibition. Instead, the gallery walls burst with life, adorned with a vast array of vibrant paintings that capture the prolific energy of his artistic practice. Each piece reflects his bold exploration of what it means to navigate the world as a neurodivergent individual within a neurotypical society.

For Chris, art serves as a vital tool for calming the mind’s chatter, providing both solace and purpose.
