Would you like to gather with other women and sing ancient songs about Nature?
MY INVITATION TO YOU
In the spirit of new government’s guidance, reopening of restaurants, bars, libraries etc. and allowing for weddings. It looks like we can meet outside up to 30 people.
I’d like to invite you to the Outdoors Women’s Singing Circle in Eastville Park in Bristol. I have missed singing with you and I am really looking forward to connecting with you all again.
Women’s Singing Circle and sound relaxation ( with social distance )
We are going to explore our voices and practice traditional ‘white singing voice’ which is an open throat, bright and singing, We’ll learn polyphonic songs from Ukraine and Bulgaria. We will dip into the treasure trove of beautiful, ancient songs about the Nature that is part of my beautiful heritage.

We’re going to meet inside the park entrance near the public toilets, opposite the Shell Garage.
*In case of heavy rain, the event is going to be rescheduled.

SONG LEADER ~ Magdalena Leszczyc (known as Lena) is also a waldorf teacher, product designer and children’s entertainer. She is Polish by birth, Eastern European songs are deeply rooted in her soul, she has been singing ever since she was a little girl. Bringing this treasure trove of beautiful songs about nature, enchanted forests, villages, seas and rivers. Lena’s passion for these songs is as infectious as the songs themselves, and a key part of what she describes as her ‘beautiful heritage’. Lena has trained in feminine sound therapy, attended workshops with Laboratorium Piesni, trained with the workshop leader, singer-songwriter and vocal coach Susie Ro Prater, and was previously part of another eastern European singing group here in the UK.
