St Brendan’s Open Day

1 October @ 9:30 am - 11 October @ 2:30 pm

Free

We’d love for all year 11’s and year 10’s to join us for our biggest Open Day of the year, immerse themselves in College life at our stunning modern campus with an opportunity to speak to course leaders, teachers, student ambassadors and our careers team.

St Brendan’s Sixth Form College is the only specialist Level 3 provider in the Bristol-Bath-South Gloucestershire area and is an educational home to over 2000 students. The College provides a diverse range of over 60 different A-level and Level 3 Applied General courses to 16 – 18-year-olds, as well as bespoke programmes which focus on employability, critical thinking and other enhancement opportunities.

In addition, the College has an Access to Level 3 programme for students who have the ambition to study at Level 3 but have not yet met the entry criteria to do so. Learners on this one-year pathway will study a bespoke timetable, equivalent to five GCSEs. The programme also provides opportunities for work experience.

As an educational institution exclusively for 16 – 18-year-olds, teachers are experts in their field and the campus is designed specifically for young adults to enjoy. Inspired by university-style learning, post-16 students can find all they need and more on the one Brislington campus. From state-of-the-art science labs and inspirational art spaces, to county-standard sports facilities and vibrant social spaces; St Brendan’s aims to ensure all students enjoy an enriched post-16 education and are ready to take the next step towards a successful future!
