The Crawl

18 May @ 7:30 pm - 8:40 pm
£12.50 – £15

After a successful run at the 2025 Edinburgh Fringe, the original physical comedy The Crawl comes to Bristol for one night only!

THE CRAWL

an original comedy

Loco Klub Bristol, 18 May, 7:30PM

Welcome to THE CRAWL: the most epic swim race of the century. In this high-energy physical comedy, two performers bring to life top-level athletes, commentators, coaches, and even a glacier in a splashy display of virtuosic physicality.

Facing off in the competition this year: Mytha, a decorated swimmer from the icy north, and Steve, a plucky underdog from Dead-endton, UK. And don’t discount French favourite Debussy, who may or may not be sitting in the audience right now…

Featuring cinematic storytelling, audience interaction, and original musical underscoring, THE CRAWL dives into a world of absurd competition, exploring what it means to win.

Described as “a masterclass in physical theatre” (Broadway World, 5 stars) and “a tantalising, good-time show which truly gets the heart racing” (Theatre Weekly, 4 stars), The Crawl is a riotous, bubbly show with a heartwarming undercurrent. Good for ages 8+.

“We are in the presence of masters…“You are in their pockets from the very first stroke” British Theatre Guide, ★★★★★

“The dialogue is quick and clever, with direction that keeps everything moving at a buoyant pace” Broadway World, ★★★★★

“A stroke of genius… marvellous physical theatre that really makes a splash” Three Weeks, ★★★★
