For one night only, What The Frock! Comedy returns to Bristol – to mark the launch of ‘The Women Who Built Bristol: Volume Three’ by author Jane Duffus.

Join us at the beautiful Cooper’s Hall at Bristol Old Vic, where multi award-winning comedian Ada Campe will be your host.

First of all, author Jane Duffus will be in conversation with BBC Bristol’s Laura Rawlings, talking about the new book and some of the fantastic stories inside.

Then join us for a mini return of Jane’s award-winning comedy event What The Frock! Comedy, where Bristol’s own Dani Johns and Frock! favourite Ada Campe will be your illustrious entertainers.

Multi-award-winning Ada Campe, who is a firm Frock! favourite, is a cabaret performer, comedian and magician with an eclectic portfolio. New to the Frock! line-up is Bristol’s own Dani Johns promises an energetic mix of storytelling and serious oversharing.

As you would expect, copies of Jane’s new book will be on sale (along with copies of the previous two volumes), and Jane will be waving her pen around and will be happy to sign copies. Cards and cash will be welcome.

All tickets include a free limited-edition gift.

Doors 7pm. Event starts 7.30pm. Fully accessible venue.

All ticket sales are final and we are unable to offer refunds. The line-up is subject to change.
