SUMMARY:Understanding and Including People in the Plus of LGBTplus: Open Training Session
DESCRIPTION:Plus Importance Project is a charity focused on improving understanding and inclusion of people in the + of LGBT+\, defined as sexualities\, gender identities\, relationship orientations and sex characteristics including\, but not limited to\, asexual\, genderfluid\, genderqueer\, intersex\, non-binary\, pansexual\, polyamorous and queer. \nThe number of people identifying in the + of LGBT+ is growing significantly\, particularly in younger generations\, so it’s important for everyone to improve their understanding and practices to better include people in the +. Would you benefit from our support and expertise? \nThis is a 2.5 hour training session to help you understand and include people in the + of LGBT+. \nWe recommend attending if: \n\nYou’re already familiar with lesbian\, gay\, bisexual and transgender identities. We cover these briefly but most of our focus is on other LGBT+ identities.\nYou’re open to changing your practices to create a more inclusive environment\, going beyond the legal minimum.\n\nWe’ve had excellent feedback from our training so far so we’re sure you’ll love it too: \n\n98% of attendees said they would recommend our training to others!\n“The training was fantastic\, engaging\, and educational. We all really enjoyed and appreciated the session and left feeling more knowledgeable and with more understanding of + experiences and issues.
