Whats on in Bristol

Bristol is one the U.K.’s popular locations for Stag Do’s and Hen Parties with its bustling nightlife, a variety of top-notch restaurants and a huge range of activities. If you are planning your weekend away in the area you should definitely include Adventure Bristol as part of your plan. We offer fantastic outdoor activities for stags & hens with a huge list of things to do. Conveniently located next to the M5 Motorway with easy access to Cribbs Causeway and all it has to offer: great restaurants, plenty of hotels and accommodation and just a short ride to the Centre of Bristol so you can give your Stag or Hen a complete weekend they will never forget.

Adventure Bristol has complete packages for either a full day or a half day of fun for your group. Along with some of our high-adrenaline/high-rope events, we have some awesome team-based challenges to really put you all to the test.

For your Stag Do or Hen Party, Adventure Bristol has a number of options organised by our amazing instructors. You can choose one of our pre-set itineraries or we can build a custom experience to really challenge you and your team to suit your budget and time:

High Ropes adventure ( approx 2 hrs)
You’ll arrive and be kitted out and begin the day with some warm-up activities which can include the Ski Race and the Marble run, both of which will get you all in the mood.

You begin with your first challenge: the high ropes for bonkers Crate Stack Challenge, a giant game of Jenga with you precariously balance on top! Keep building the tower higher and higher until it topples. Then onto our Totem Pole. Belay each other up to a small platform the size of a tray, 25 feet up in the air, where 4 of you cling together – or you can form a link and try to lean out as far as possible if you dare!

Other challenges include, 30ft High Wire LadderRope Race (who is the fastest at climbing the rope Marine style, the terrifying 25ft Leap of Faith – force the Stag or Hen of your group to test their courage by taking a leap into the void and live to tell the tale, or take a ride on Bristol’s only 3G Giant Swing – see the Stag or Hen scream as they are released from 30ft in the air.

Situation Survival. ( approx 2 hrs)
Escape from the room meets the Wilderness

Your group is split into teams and your challenge is to survive by locating items in the woods and overcoming our survival challenges (MinefieldAxe Throwing and Cross The Swamp). Use the map and radios to navigate the area, build a camp, light a fire and construct a shelter. First to get a brew on and roast marshmallows around the fire are the winners. This activity is very popular with Stag and Hen Parties who love to finish a day around a campfire.

Bubble Football
Take on your mates in these giant inflatable balls. A great laugh with lots of bouncing and bumping

Axe Throwing
A brilliant activity set in the woods. Very operative as you go for the highest team and individual axe throwing score.

We are based in a wildlife park “WildPlace” with a huge range of animals (Giraffes, Lemurs, Cheetahs etc) and a cafe where you can buy lunch with a glass of wine or a coffee/tea. You can also bring your own food and refreshments and settle in our TeePee for lunch as a group.

1 Activity – £29 per head
2 Activites – £45 per head
3 Activites – £59 per head

We have a licensed family cafe on site at Wild Place where you can buy lunch, sandwiches, soup, Beer, Wine and soft refreshments. We are also a 10-minute drive from Cribbs Causeway and all the restaurants, Tenpin Bowling and Cinemas.

Adventure Bristol has a 5 Star Rating on Trip Advisor for an awesome day out in Bristol, so you will not be disappointed. Below is a sample of some of the reviews we have received.

‘Have to say how much fun we had this weekend for my best friends hen party! The Leap of faith was fantastic fun, such friendly staff, everything explained really well. I’m not great with heights but the staff were super encouraging and never pressure you to do something you don’t want to! I actually did the leap of faith and I didn’t think I could do it. It was great value for money we got a full 2 1/2 hours worth in and everyone enjoyed it so much! Highly recommend!!! 🙂 Thanks for a fab time!!!” Laura Trip Advisor

Excellent †stag‡ activity. Couldn’t recommend this more highly. We were a group of 20 and visited on a cold February afternoon, the combination of crate stacking, totem balancing, wall climbing and of course the giant swing and leap of faith was ideal. It’s a great laugh and really gets the adrenaline going. If you’re thinking of this as a stag or corporate team building activity don’t hesitate it’s definitely suitable for adults as well as kids.

Chris and the rest of the team were brilliant and really went out of their way to look after us. Really friendly, great banter and plenty of encouragement when needed, they really know what they are about.
Awesome! Great fun afternoon. Awesome! Really good Stag activity. Absolutely loved it! Definitely, recommend it. Go!
